# License activation fails

Entering your key in **Marketplace → Settings** doesn't activate, or returns an error. Usually it's a mistyped key, a domain mismatch, or the server blocking the validation request.

## Fix

1. Re-copy the **full license key** with no leading or trailing spaces.
2. Confirm the site **domain matches the license** (staging and live domains are often licensed separately).
3. Follow the official [License Activation Guide](https://wpdoc.webkul.com/license-validator/) step by step.
