Pricing
A bookable product starts from its ordinary WooCommerce price and then has price adjustments layered on top. Set them per product on the Pricing tab of Product Settings.

The tab opens with the product's pricing settings panel, then the adjustment list beneath it.

How a booking price is built
- Base rate — the product's regular price, multiplied by the number of nights, days, hours or blocks (whatever the booking type's billing unit is).
- Person types — per-person charges, if you use them. See People and Guests.
- Resource surcharge — the extra price on the room, member of staff or item the customer chose. See Resources.
- Services — optional add-ons the customer ticked. See Services, Extras and Fees.
- Extras and fees — required and conditional charges.
- Price adjustments — the rules on this page, applied in priority order.
- Deposit split — if a deposit or instalment rule applies, the total is split into Pay now and Balance due later.
The customer sees this worked out live on the product page:

A real example from a two-night stay at ₹4,500 a night with one ₹1,200 service, one ₹150 fee and a 30 % deposit rule:
Base: ₹4,500.00 per night × 2 nights = ₹9,000.00
Extras: ₹1,200.00
Fees: ₹150.00
───────────
Pay now: ₹3,105.00
Balance later: ₹7,245.00
Adding a price adjustment
- Click Add price adjustment.
- Choose an Adjustment type — the fields change to match.
- Fill in the value and any conditions.
- Set a Priority and Status, add an Internal Note, and click Create.

The table lists the adjustment, a plain summary of what it does, and its status. Use Inactive / Active to switch a rule off for a while, and Delete to remove it.

| Field | Notes |

| Status | Active or Inactive |
| Internal Note | Why the rule exists — never shown to customers |
Tips
Give the rules that must always apply — a deposit, a mandatory seasonal uplift — a low priority number so they run before the optional discounts.
Deposits and instalments
A deposit rule changes what happens at checkout. Instead of paying the whole booking, the customer pays a part now, and the rest is recorded as a balance.
- The cart and checkout line shows Pay now and Balance due later.
- The cart total is the pay-now amount, so the customer sees a saving against the full price.
- The order line item records both figures.
- The booking's Payment column in the admin shows the Now / Later split instead of Paid in full.
- A Balance due reminder can be sent automatically or on demand. See Notifications and Reminders.
Important
The balance is recorded, not automatically charged. Collect it the way you normally would — an invoice, a payment link, or on arrival — and reconcile the order yourself.
Store-wide deposit defaults live under Global Settings → Products → Global Pricing → Deposits:
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Enable Deposits | Enabled |
| Default Deposit (%) | 30 |
| Deposit Due In (days) | 0 |
Discounts
Store-wide discount defaults live under Global Settings → Products → Global Pricing → Discounts:
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Enable Discounts | Enabled |
| Early Bird Discount (%) | 10 |
| Group Discount (%) | 5 |
The per-product Early bird, Last-minute and Group discount adjustments are what actually apply to a booking; the global values are the starting point you copy from.
Seasonal pricing
Store-wide seasonal defaults live under Global Settings → Products → Global Pricing → Seasonal Pricing:
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Enable Seasonal Pricing | Enabled |
| Season Profile Name | Default Season |
| Default Peak Multiplier | 1.2 |
For an actual season, add a Multiply the price adjustment on the product with the months you consider peak.
Coupons
Bookable products work with ordinary WooCommerce coupons, with three controls under Global Settings → Products → Global Pricing → Coupons:
| Setting | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Enable Coupons | Enabled | Whether coupons apply to bookable items at all |
| Allow Stackable Coupons | Disabled | Whether several coupons can combine on a booking |
| Max Coupon Discount (%) | 50 | The most a coupon may take off a booking line |
Note
The maximum is a cap, not a target. A 70 % coupon on a booking with the default settings still only takes 50 % off that line.
Dynamic pricing behaviour
Global Settings → Products → Global Pricing → Dynamic Pricing Rules:
| Setting | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Enable Dynamic Pricing Rules | Enabled | Whether adjustments are applied at all |
| Recalculate On Person Change | Enabled | Update the price as the guest count changes |
| Round To Nearest | 1 | Round the final figure |
Where the other adjustment types live
Three adjustment types are edited on the tab they belong to, so related settings stay together:
| Adjustment | Tab |
|---|---|
| Slot-based pricing | Availability |
| Resource-specific pricing | Resources |
| Per-person-type pricing | People and Guests |

Checking your work
- Open the product on your storefront.
- Pick dates that should trigger the rule and dates that should not.
- Read the Estimated price breakdown — the base, extras, fees and the pay-now split are all itemised.
- If a rule does not fire, check its Status is Active, its dates or months are right, and no higher-priority rule is overriding it.
Next step
- Resources — surcharges for particular rooms or staff.
- People and Guests — per-person pricing.
- The Customer Booking Experience — what the price looks like to the customer.
