Overview

The connector links three things: your WooCommerce Point of Sale, your Linkly Cloud account, and the Linkly PIN pad on the counter.

How it works

  1. The administrator connects the store to Linkly Cloud. In the gateway settings you enter the Linkly username and password (separate ones for test and live) and enable the gateway.
  2. Outlets get the Linkly payment method. On activation the connector creates a POS payment method called POS Linkly Reader and adds it to your outlets. You decide which outlets keep it.
  3. Each cashier pairs their till. In the POS, the cashier clicks the Linkly icon in the header and enters the pair code shown on the Linkly terminal. The store's Linkly credentials and the pair code are sent to Linkly, and the pairing is saved for that POS user.
  4. The cashier takes the payment. At the pay screen the cashier selects POS Linkly Reader and confirms. The POS creates the order as Pending payment and sends the amount to the paired terminal.
  5. The customer pays on the terminal. When Linkly approves the card, the order is marked Completed, the Linkly transaction details are saved on the order, and the POS invoice prints.
