Choosing a Printify Connector for a WooCommerce multi vendor marketplace is really a question of who owns the Printify account. On a single store, one Printify account publishes to one WooCommerce shop. On a marketplace, the admin and every vendor sell their own print on demand products, pay Printify for their own production and need their own orders sent to the right Printify shop. This page compares the Printify Connector for WooCommerce Marketplace with the official Printify WooCommerce integration and, as the nearest multi vendor print on demand option, the Dokan Pro Printful Integration module. It uses only what each vendor publishes about its own product.
The Printify Connector links the Webkul Multi Vendor Marketplace with Printify. The admin and every vendor connect their own Printify shop through a setup wizard, import products into WooCommerce, send orders to Printify for fulfilment and decide in Sync Settings what Printify may change automatically. Key advantages of the Printify Connector
Built for a marketplace, not a single store. The admin connects from Marketplace → Printify Connect and every vendor connects from My Account → Printify Connector. Each account is private: a vendor sees only their own Printify shop, products, orders and settings, and imported products are published under that vendor's store. Printify's own integration documents one Printify account per store, so on a marketplace every vendor would share the same Printify account.
Vendors set themselves up. The Vendor Setup Wizard takes a vendor from a Printify API token to a connected shop with product and order defaults in four steps, and explains where to find the token. The admin does not have to connect each vendor's shop.
Orders go to the right Printify shop. When a customer buys from several vendors in one order, each vendor sends only their own Printify items, automatically at checkout or in bulk from Manage Orders. If Printify refuses an order, the reason is shown next to it, so it can be fixed and exported again.
Printify changes reach the store on their own. Once a shop is connected, Printify webhooks are registered automatically. Depending on your Sync Settings, new Printify products are imported, changed ones are updated, deleted ones are moved to Trash and order statuses follow Printify. You choose exactly which fields an update may replace, such as name, description, price, weight, variations and images.
You can see what happened. The Webhook Events page lists every product and order update Printify sends, whether it completed, is waiting or failed, and what changed in the store. Printify requests are also recorded in the WooCommerce logs.
Control over what syncs. Exclude Products keeps chosen store products untouched by updates and stops specific Printify products from ever being imported, so manual edits are not overwritten.
Important considerations when evaluating other solutions
These are points to check against your own requirements, not criticisms. Each is drawn from the vendor's own published material as reviewed in September 2026, and each vendor may have changed its product since.
Official Printify WooCommerce integration. It is free to use, and Printify charges only for the products and shipping of each order. It fits a single WooCommerce store well. For a marketplace, check the following:
- Per vendor Printify accounts are not documented. A Printify account connects to stores, and a store can be linked to one Printify account at a time.
- Products are published from Printify, and Printify recommends making changes on the Printify side.
- Stock status in WooCommerce is not updated automatically unless Order Routing is used.
- Orders import when they reach Processing and may take up to 24 hours to sync.
- Tracking is synced back. How WooCommerce order statuses are updated is not documented.
- Linking existing WooCommerce products to Printify is a manual, per variant process.
Dokan Pro Printful Integration. This is a genuine multi vendor print on demand module with per vendor connections, automatic order creation and tracking. It connects to Printful, not Printify, and it runs on the Dokan marketplace rather than the Webkul Multi Vendor Marketplace. It is included only in the Dokan Pro Business and Enterprise plans. Importing existing orders, excluding products and logs are not documented. Verify before purchase.
Any solution you consider. Feature availability can depend on the product version, the plan or additional extensions. Before you buy, confirm that:
- Each vendor can connect their own account
- Order export and status sync are included
- Real time updates are supported
- Your workflow is covered by the documentation
- Support is included, and the price covers the full feature set
Suitable use cases
The Printify Connector fits when the marketplace, not a single store, is where print on demand products are sold.
- Webkul marketplaces whose vendors sell print on demand products. Each vendor designs in their own Printify shop and lists the products in your marketplace without re-entering them.
- Admins who also sell their own Printify products. The admin connects a Printify shop in the same way as any vendor.
- Marketplaces with mixed orders. Orders that contain several vendors' products send each vendor's Printify items to that vendor's Printify shop.
- Stores that want updates without manual copying. Webhook sync keeps product details and order statuses current, within the rules you set.
- Teams that edit products in WooCommerce. Field level update choices and exclusion lists keep store side changes from being replaced.
It is not the right fit if you do not use the Webkul Multi Vendor Marketplace for WooCommerce, which it requires (see Installation). It also does not suit a need to create products in WooCommerce and send them to Printify, because the connector imports from Printify only.
Pricing and licensing
- Printify Connector for WooCommerce Marketplace: a one time purchase for a single site from the Webkul store, with a support period included and paid extensions to it available. Printify still charges the connected Printify account for production and shipping of each order.
- Official Printify WooCommerce integration: free to connect. Printify charges for products and shipping. The optional Printify Premium subscription gives product discounts and more stores per account, and is not required for WooCommerce.
- Dokan Pro Printful Integration: included only in the Dokan Pro Business and Enterprise plans, which are paid yearly or as a lifetime licence. Printful charges separately for fulfilment.
