WooCommerce Marketplace Shopify Connector
WooCommerce Marketplace Shopify Connector lets each seller in your WooCommerce marketplace link their own Shopify store to their seller account, and move products, collections, orders, stock and prices between the two — in both directions, from one screen inside My Account.
This documentation is written for the seller who uses the connector day to day, and for the marketplace administrator who installs it and keeps an eye on the connected accounts.
Where to start
If you have never connected a Shopify store before, read these four pages in order:
- Overview — what the connector does, who uses it and how the pieces fit together.
- Installation — what has to be in place before the connector appears.
- Creating the Shopify App — the keys the connector needs, and where to get them.
- Setup Wizard — the four-step guided connection.
Still deciding? The Comparison page sets the connector beside the other Shopify and WooCommerce sync tools, feature by feature.
The four main jobs
These are what the connector is for. Each has its own page.
| Job | What it does | Page |
|---|---|---|
| Import products | Bring the Shopify catalogue into WooCommerce — two stages, batched, with a live progress bar | Importing Products |
| Export products | Push WooCommerce products into the Shopify catalogue — all at once, a selection, or one row at a time | Exporting Products |
| Import orders | Bring Shopify orders into WooCommerce with the status you choose | Importing Orders |
| Export orders | Create marketplace orders on Shopify by hand, or automatically at checkout | Exporting Orders |
And the two that keep everything current afterwards:
| Job | What it does | Page |
|---|---|---|
| Sync products automatically | Shopify webhooks update WooCommerce live — or push WooCommerce changes out to Shopify | Webhooks and Auto-Sync |
| Update what already exists | Refresh stock and prices in bulk, or update selected products in either direction | Importing Products · Exporting Products |
Everyday work
The supporting pages you will come back to:
- Connecting Your Store — the account list, the store switcher, adding, editing and removing accounts.
- Category Mapping — pair Shopify collections with WooCommerce categories. Do this before your first import.
Reference
When you need to know exactly which fields move, and how:
- Product Data Reference — every product field in both directions, how product type and stock are decided, and which fields an update may write.
- Order Data Reference — every order field in both directions, which Shopify orders are eligible, and what an exported order looks like on Shopify.
Configuration
- Settings — the ten general settings, the three export-order settings and the three auto-sync settings, all stored per Shopify account.
- Price Rules — adjust prices as products move between the two stores.
- Webhooks and Auto-Sync — how live updates from Shopify reach WooCommerce.
For the marketplace administrator
- Admin Overview — the list of every seller's Shopify account, and the Shopify Order Id column on the WooCommerce order list.
When something goes wrong
- Troubleshooting — the messages the connector shows, what causes them and what to do.
- FAQ — short answers to the questions sellers ask most.
Note
This documentation describes version 3.0.0 of the plugin. Screenshots come from a live WooCommerce marketplace running that version.
