WooCommerce Point of Sale provides robust functionality, but admins and users may occasionally need guidance on troubleshooting, compatibility, and system requirements. This section covers common issues, solutions, and important notes.
Flush Rewrite Rules
To ensure POS store links work correctly, the admin should flush the permalinks by navigating to:
Settings > Permalinks
This updates URL structures and prevents broken links.
Synchronization Issues
- POS agents can synchronize offline store data with the online store whenever they go online
- Sales, customer data, and stock updates are synced to maintain consistency between offline and online stores
Tip: Click the offline sync button in the POS panel to manually synchronize orders if required.
Stock Updates
POS now automatically updates product stock whenever the order status changes, ensuring real-time inventory management.
Compatibility
- Multisite: Fully compatible with WordPress multisite setups
- HPOS: Compatible with WooCommerce’s new High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS)
- Barcodes: Supports Code-128 barcodes for quick product addition

Product Limitations
- Supported Products: Works only with Simple and Variable Products
- Backorders: Not supported, as backorders can complicate POS operations in physical stores where speed and simplicity are critical

- Minimum Screen Resolution: 1280 px (support for 768 px is in progress)
- Compatible Devices: iPads, Tablets, Laptops, Macs, Desktop PCs
- Minimum Screen Size: 7.5 inches
Important Notes
- Offline Sync: Admins can manually sync offline orders using the offline sync button
- Auto Sync: Enable Auto Sync Offline Orders to automatically sync orders whenever a new online order is created
- Version Updates: Updates for Webkul modules can be accessed directly on the Plugins page in WordPress
